What's involved
We need fire marshalls for our big concert at the Octagon. The role involves arriving at 6pm for a safety briefing, then being in the auditorium, in defined seats, throughout the concert. In the (unlikely!) event of an evacuation, fire marshalls would escort guests and performers to their allocated fire exit.
Anyone interesting in helping us out with this would need to be fully mobile, and prepared to sit in a specific seat in the auditorium, which means they may not be able to sit next to other family members, friends etc. They would need to remain in the auditorium from when we open the house (6:30pm), and throughout the concert.
When signing up for this, you'll need to provide the name and email address of the person who will act as the fire marshall (you can't do it yourself as a singer, unless you're not going to be singing in this concert). We'll email a ticket to the person whose details you provide - this will be a free ticket, and will enable the fire marshall to watch the whole show.
