Ongoing: Register

Greeting people when they arrive and marking their attendance on our register is necessary in case of an emergency evacuation - but it's also a lovely way to make sure that everyone gets a pleasant welcome when they arrive. We'll provide a printed register, which you'll complete as people arrive. You'll need to balance giving a friendly welcome with being efficient - trying not to let too much of a queue build up if someone wants to chat, for example. You'll return the printed registers to us after each session.

In the event of an evacuation, you'd need to check everyone on the list was present at the evacuation point, and work with venue and/or fire service staff to let them know whether everyone was safely evacuated.
