BeVox: Your local choir in Sheffield
Our Sheffield group is currently the largest of our choirs, and has been running since the very beginning of BeVox. We've done some incredible performances in and around the city, including being part of Sheffield's contribution to the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. We sing in all kinds of places, including retirement homes, churches, the magnificent Winter Garden in the city centre, school halls, the railway station, both cathedrals, and The Octagon Centre.
Singing with a live rock band at The Octagon in Sheffield was a really powerful experience - in fact, we've done this twice (the other one was our "Sounds of the Sixties" concert).
Sheffield has a variety of really interesting places to sing, and the natural amphitheatre behind the railway station is one of them. We loved taking part in this local community festival.
We sing together, we celebrate together... This was at the end of our "BeVox Rocks" concert at The Octagon, and it was a really memorable night.
